All of our bracelets are crafted using high-quality stretch elastic. While this material is chosen for its strength and durability, it is natural for the elastic to lose some tension over time through regular wear.
To ensure your bracelet remains in beautiful condition for years to come, we recommend the following care:
The "Roll-On" Method: When putting your bracelet on or taking it off, gently roll the beads over your hand rather than pulling or snapping the elastic. This avoids unnecessary stress on the internal cord.
Avoid Over-Stretching: Try not to fiddle with or pull the bracelet during the day. Keeping the elastic at its natural tension is the best way to preserve its integrity.
Sizing: If you prefer a looser fit, opting for a slightly larger size will reduce the constant tension on the elastic.
Keep it Dry: We advise removing your jewellery before showering, bathing, or swimming. Moisture can eventually degrade the elastic and dull the lustre of certain semi-precious stones.
Chemical Exposure: Apply perfumes, lotions, sunscreens, and hairsprays before putting on your bracelet. Chemicals found in these products can discolour the beads and weaken the elastic core.
Storage: When not in use, store your jewellery in a safe, dry place: ideally away from direct sunlight, pets, or curious little hands!
